SOLOPOP Baseball Hitting Trainer with retail package in a professional-style stadium

SOLOPOP Baseball Hitting Trainer: Pop it. Track it. Crush it.

"I bought it for my stepson, Nico. It gets him outside all summer, and he can play on his own or with us. He loves that every swing feels like a game."

Jackson

"We set it up in the garage for indoor practice. The lightweight training balls give us peace of mind around the doors and windows. A friend uses his in the basement too."

Adrian

"I joined a softball team and used this after work to practise my swing. By the first game, I actually looked like I knew what I was doing."

Paul

"I bought it as a gift for a friend. Her son plays with it all the time, and she says it was an instant hit."

Rachel

"My two kids take turns trying to beat each other's score. They are practising without anyone having to tell them to practise."

Maya

"No pitcher needed. My son can take ten quick swings while dinner is on the grill, and I can join him when I have time."

Chris

"It is easy to store, fits in our backyard, and somehow the whole family ends up taking a turn. We have had hours of fun with it."

Denise

Quick demonstration

Press. Load. Track. Swing.

Start with SOLOPOP in action, then watch the eight-second how-to, compare its launch height, and see the whole family take a turn.

How it works

Pop it up. Track it. Drive it.

Load the ball, take your stance, track the rise, and attack. Take rep after rep without waiting for someone to pitch.

  1. 1
    Load and press

Place one approved training ball on the cup and push it straight down.

  2. 2
    Get set

Move into your stance during the short delay.

  3. 3
    Track

Keep your eyes on the ball as it rises.

  4. 4
    Swing

Hit the ball when it reaches your practice window.

Five game situations. Ten swings each.

Practise the hits your team needs.

Every game has a clear target, a 10-point score, and a reason to use that swing in a real at-bat. Coaches can see whether you make square contact, control direction, bunt, find a gap, and drive a deep fly.

Hitter aiming a perforated training ball at a taped square in the centre of a practice net

Hit the Ball Into the Square

Do thisTape a 60 cm square in the centre of a net. Hit 10 balls and aim every one at the square.

ScoreOne point each time the ball hits the square before touching the ground.

In a gameA hard line drive through the middle gives infielders less time to react and can turn a strike into a base hit.

Coaches watchCan you follow a moving ball and strike it with the centre of the bat repeatedly? Scouts call that contact ability the hit tool.

Hitter aiming perforated training balls at left, centre, and right sections of a practice net

Hit Left, Centre, Right

Do thisDivide the net into three sections. Aim left, centre, right; repeat that sequence three times, then choose the 10th target.

ScoreOne point each time the ball reaches the section you chose before swinging.

In a gameSend an outside pitch to the opposite field, a middle pitch up the middle, and an inside pitch to your pull side. That lets you use more of the strike zone and hit away from defenders.

Coaches watchCan you change the ball's direction on purpose instead of pulling every pitch?

Hitter using a balanced bunting stance to direct a perforated training ball between cone lanes toward first and third base

Bunt Down Both Lines

Do thisMake one cone lane toward first base and one toward third. Alternate sides for 10 bunts: five each way.

ScoreOne point when the bunt stays on the ground and rolls through the intended lane.

In a gameWith a runner on first and no outs, a sacrifice bunt can move that runner into scoring position. Aim away from the infielder charging the ball.

Coaches watchCan you soften the contact, keep the ball on the ground, and choose the first- or third-base line?

Hitter using a balanced follow-through to send a perforated training ball along the ground through a two-cone gap

Bounce the Ball Through the Gap

Do thisPut two cones 1.2 m apart and about 6 m ahead. Hit 10 balls along the ground toward the gap.

ScoreOne point when the ball bounces before the cones and passes between them.

In a gameWhen the infield leaves a gap, a controlled ground ball through it can become a single before an outfielder reaches it.

Coaches watchCan you keep your head steady and send a ground ball through a chosen opening?

Hitter driving a perforated training ball high and beyond a cone landing line

Hit It High and Deep

Do thisMark a reachable landing line with two cones. Hit 10 balls and try to carry every one beyond it.

ScoreOne point when the ball lands beyond the line and between the cones.

In a gameWith a runner on third and fewer than two outs, a deep fly can score the run after the catch. A drive into the gap can go for extra bases.

Coaches watchCan you lift the ball with carry without popping it straight up?

Use a helmet, a clear hitting area, and adult supervision for youth players.

Four great hitters. Four skills you can practise.

Tony Gwynn consistently put the bat on the ball. Freddie Freeman learned to use every part of the field. Ichiro Suzuki created hits with bunts, ground balls, and precise placement. Albert Pujols drove the ball far enough to bring runners home. See how each skill changed real games, then follow the arrows to see exactly where the ball should go.

Player examples are included for educational comparison. No player, team, or league endorsement is implied.

Why Adrian chose it

The right practice separates good players from great hitters.

I am Adrian. I am a researcher who has played many sports, and I have spent years studying how athletes improve. The players who get better fastest do more than repeat a movement. They train with a target, get immediate feedback, and chase a better result.

That is why I sourced the SOLOPOP Batting Trainer. It turns free time into focused batting practice and every 10 balls into proof of progress. You do not wait for a pitcher. You get to work.
